Plantain

Internally, Plantain astringent action is useful for diarrhoea, gastritis and haemorrhage as well as cystitis, prostatitis and irritable bowel. Brew the plantain leaves to make a plantain tea.

Plantain is externally used for wounds, insect bites including spider bites, ulcers, eye inflammation, mouth inflammation, shingles, haemorrhoids and varicose ulcers.
